Consult, -Detail Homes To Speed Sales
Demand for "Staging Homes"=Faster Sale

Many different degrees of acting as consultant to make home attractive to buyers, or actually doing the work yourself, preparing a home for sale like detailing a car. Go here for a related story: http://money.cnn.com/

/staging_fortune/index.htm Some bank foreclosures are a mess and just cleaning them up for lenders is big business that can be a full time on going repeat "client" thing.

This is a recession proof business. Homes sitting unsold are expensive so investing some money to make the home attractive to a buyer is important, to help make a sale happen and max the price.

Now more sellers have found spending money on staging the home with furniture and amenities to make it like a home speed the sale at a much higher price.
This has led to the "home stager" pro who knows what it takes to make a home be attractive to buyers. go here to read Wikkepdia definition of a home stager.

We know some people who are making a business and a lot of money of straightening up home foreclosures for banks for resale.

They are not "staging" they are more into making "presentable". A makeover from "trashed".
There is all degrees of this up in the air, but the harder it is to sell a home (recession-depression) for a decent price the more important home staging becomes.

There are seminars being run around the country on how to "stage" homes for sale. not sure if any of them are any good or not nor do I know about quality of courses.

There is a course for sale on click bank on how to be a home stager for $47.00. Check it out here.... You may learn something from the presentation, without order the course.

Most say you can start up for under $300. However, one article here says the average, staging job, for a client, the cost is $3,000.
You might go to an adjacent large city and find someone there in the business who wll let you help them a few days for free, They in turn know you are never going to be a competitor, so you see if you can learn the business from them. Most will be secretly delighted to help.
Maybe you have a relative you can stay with for free while you learn. A few days should do it.
Or you may just read up on it and wing it. Remember there is "curb appeal" outside "drive by" (fix) and inside, which is mainly a removal "of stuff" on many homes, with people living in it etc, to be presentable and become desirable to buyers. (de-clutter, remove anything smaller then a basketball, I liked that formula)

Understand this is a business, little or no investment that you can start at the same time and running concurrently, as several other start up businesses and you go today with which ever one has a hot prospect or client ready to go.

With no real money invested, there is NOTHING other then your time and energy restricting you from getting several start up new businesses in operating mode at the same time.
