All the Corporations are busy selling this market pills. They cannot compete with you here, you have an inherent advantage.
You need income right now to get by on, and this can do it for you fairly fast if you can market successfully and find clients.
Within the walking of a mile or two of your home, are potential customers for your new senior service,
Think of this as a potential customer, when your parent’s health and conditions goes downhill at some point you have to decide:
Do I have to stop working, end my career and one or the other of us stay home and care for my parent. This parent does not need a lot of care but just cannot no longer, for whatever reason, cannot be safely left to live on their own anymore.
Comes down to two options.......
Stay home and care for them or put them in a care home, of some type, both are a catastrophe for one or the other, the parent, that considers being placed in a rest home a "fate worse than death itself."
Or the "have to end their career" person now having to stay home, caretaker.
If you as the business start up person are tied down at home with your own kids you may have considered some type of day care income where a parent or two drops off their preschool children with you for care while they go to work, this is called child care and there are regulations and requirements and governmental laws to meet in many communities.
Many others provide this care now, so you have much competition doing the same thing. Once you get into this you are into a full time work that almost takes you out of other businesses.

The Senior Version of Child Care,
"Drop off Senior Oversight"
Many senior citizens can care for themselves, say for as much as 98% of life’s trials, but need someone to be there for them to oversee the slipping 2%.
But they basically take care of themselves, eat regular etc,
If a son or daughter is in the position of needing to be there to do that, they need to find a way to continue to be able to go to work, and they can do that by dropping them off at your place, when they go to their job.
You perhaps prepare a lunch for them but may require very little more of your time except to be there.
This allows you to work on developing other businesses at the same time, but you are there if needed. Be sure they eat, take their pills on time etc.
You could perhaps have two or 3 dropped off, thus earning you as much as going to work without the normal expenses of going to work. You are not required to entertain them; you are just to be there.
You could also be at home for your kids at the same time so you’re not yourself having to pay for child care.
So a senior or adult care drop off may overall even beat going back on the old job. This would require you have a home or place adequate to provide comfortable surroundings etc. This facility would be part of your sales pitch if good.
Seniors take a lot less attention than kids usually, and you can price accordingly to just how much care or oversight they need.
You will have to look into local regulations on this type of thing but my bet is most have no regulations or easy to meet regulations on this type of senior oversight
Trick here is to be available as these customers develop and convince them leaving them with you is a good option.
It is not a fast start up where you go from zero to a group of customers; you start with one and be there so that when the need arises for others they hear about you supplying a feasible option.
You will only be able to grow this over a longer period of time. Until you get one client it is no investment, no time consuming, and no loss. Give the one client advance notice and you can quit anytime if something better comes down the pike.
